Netflix Canada Review

I've been given a free trial of Netflix Canada.  Last year I was given a free trial when Netflix first arrived in Canada.  Back then I wasn't impressed.  It didn't nearly have the selection of videos that Netflix US had.  This time things are a little different.  There are a lot more movies to choose from.  I'm a big horror movie fan and for the past two weeks I've watched films I've never seen before.  There are a lot more that I have not seen I look forward to watching them.

I am disappointed at the lack of fitness videos.  I couldn't find any in my search. And the new releases aren't so new, but the best thing about the free trial is getting to watch the new season of Arrested Development.  I am considering signing up for the monthly membership of unlimited streaming which is only $7.99.  I didn't think it was worth it last year, but it has gotten better. Black Flag TV Review

I love horror movies. All kinds of horror movies. The good, the bad and the ugly! I could watch them all day, but sadly they're usually not on all day except around Halloween. There's an online channel called Black Flag TV. It's run by heavy metal artist Sv Bell. Black Flag TV shows indie horror movies all day, every day. No subscription, registration or fees which is fantastic! There are commercials, but not many. I discovered this channel over the weekend and couldn't stop watching it. Black Flag TV is looking for advertisers, new films and are very interested in new up-and-coming filmmakers to feature on the channel. Black TV is adding new viewers every day. Quest Bars Review & Giveaway!

If you have been reading my blogs especially my other blog Beauty, Fitness & Health...Oh my! You know I have a sweet tooth or more like sweet teeth.  There isn't a cake, cookie or pie I don't like.  So when I heard about Quest Nutrition's Quest Bars I was intrigued.  Quest Bars come in flavors like Apple Pie, Lemon Cream, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and many other wonderful flavors. I did some research ( mostly on Twitter) and the consensus was that this is the best tasting protein bar out there.  Ok, I'm sold! I wanted to try them and share my thoughts with my readers. So I contacted Quest Nutrition for a sample.  They sent me a 12 bar sample pack!

Mixed Berry Bliss!

Here are my thoughts right after I tried each one:
Apple Pie-Tasted like cinnamon and apples two of my favorite things.  This one was my favorite until I tried the next one.

Chocolate Brownie-Was so good and chocolately.  It wasn't like a milk chocolate, but a deep rich chocolate.  So good after I putting it in the microwave for 15 seconds.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough-Nice cookie dough flavor.  I could taste a chocolate chip in every bite.

Strawberry Cheesecake-Really didn't taste any cheesecake flavor, but there was a strong strawberry flavor which I loved.

Vanilla Almond Crunch-Strong almond flavor.  More like a roasted almond.  Had a nice crunch.

Cinnamon Roll-Loved the cinnamon flavor. Just the right amount of sweetness.  Another one that was even more delicious warm.

Coconut Cashew-Tasted like a sugar cookie to me.  Really sweet and delicious after 15 seconds in the microwave!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Quest Bar

Peanut Butter and Jelly (shown above)- Firstly I'm not a really big fan of peanut butter bars, but I have to say this one tasted like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  Also, do you see the big chunks of peanuts in there?!

So happy I liked them.  Quest Bars have at least 20g of protein.  There are no artificial sweeteners, flavors, sugar, gluten or junk. Check out the ingredients here. I felt good about eating them after a workout, as a snack or dessert.  I have to tell you these bars kept me full for hours.  I was so excited about them I got halfway through the 12 pack sampler and said I must have a giveaway!  The wonderful people at Quest Nutrition agreed!
